Just a short update for a quick story.
Kate climbed into bed with us Thursday morning, and while she was cuddling and bouncing on her mom she passed gas. Amaryllis was teasing her about it, and made the comment, "That was a real firecracker," to which Kate responded, "More like a buttcracker."
Amaryllis and I laughed hard for a good few minutes...

They really do say the darndest things. I ask Jack all the time who made him so cute and he normally replies Mommy or Daddy, but when I asked him the other day he said 'Mommy made me cute... and Daddy makes me nervous.' I was rolling.
Jamie once said some incomprehensible sentence ending in "Spider-Man." I turned to Alphy and told him "Man, I wish I could understand every word she just said."
Jamie responded with "Spi-der Man" in a duh-Mom tone of voice.
